Pay Transparency Directive at a glance

Please note that in 2023, the European Council has adopted the Pay Transparency Directive. The directive aims to combat wage discrimination between men and women and to close the pay gap. The directive shall be implemented into national law by June 2026. Although this may sound far away, we recommend employers to already start making preparations and to check the wage categories and gaps in their organization.
