van Zadelhof

Erika van Zadelhof joined Workx Advocaten in January 2024. She advises and litigates on dismissals, reorganisations, sickness and employee participation, acting for employers, employees and works councils. She also advises on matters involving inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

Before becoming a lawyer, Erika spent three years as a law clerk at the District Courts of Haarlem and Amsterdam, where she worked mainly on employment, tenancy and consumer law cases. She also served as secretary of the neighbourhood court in Amsterdam-Zuidoost.While at Workx, Erika was seconded for a period as interim legal counsel to a large multinational. This gave her insight into employment law from inside an organisation.
Erika obtained her Master’s degree in Private Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2019. Her master’s thesis examined how plain language can be applied in court judgments. She has brought this focus on clear and accessible legal writing with her into legal practice.

Erika is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Employment Lawyers (Vereniging Jonge Arbeidsrecht Advocaten, VJAA).
