Nika is has been admitted to the Dutch bar in 2017. She works at Workx Advocaten since 2021. She works for national and international clients; she advises and litigates on both individual and collective labor law.
Nika started as a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, where she specialized in Dutch employment law. She mainly focused on employee participation, (collective) dismissals, reorganizations and employment law aspects of large (international) transactions. She was also vice-chairman of the works council of her old firm.
Nika studied at the University of Utrecht, where she graduated her master’s degree in Private Law cum laude. Nika also studied abroad at the University of Uppsala (Sweden).
Nika successfully completed the Post Academic Course in Employment Law (PALA) in 2021 and is author of the SDU Practice Notes.
She is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and the Young Employment Lawyers Association (VJAA).
