Kay has been a lawyer since August 2024 and has worked at Workx as a legal assistant since November 2023. Kay primarily focuses on assisting and advising both employees and employers on employment law issues related to performance, reorganizations, workplace conflicts, and dismissal, and is also closely involved in the due diligence practice.

Kay completed a Master’s degree in employment law at Leiden University. He wrote his thesis on the qualification and position of employees on platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber and on the legislative proposal “clarification of assessment of employment relationships and legal presumption”.

During his studies, he enjoyed working as a volunteer at the Delfland law shop to provide individuals with free legal advice.
