We are off to a great start this year! Juliette Niersman has been appointed partner at Workx lawyers with effect from 1 January 2024. Many of you already know Juliette. She made the move to Workx advocaten from NautaDutilh in 2021. Juliette is a true all-rounder; her main focus is on the corporate labour law practice. She has made a major contribution to the growth of that practice in recent years. But she is also keen on a good fight in court for which she gladly pulls out her gown. With Juliette joining, Workx consists of five partners and we are proud and very happy with that!
But this is not all. In addition to this partner appointment, we have two new junior lawyers on our team: Erika van Zadelhof and Bente Portman. Erika had already worked as a court clerk at the District Court for three years before she started practising law. On the “other side” of the table, she realised she wanted to become a lawyer. Bente Portman has been working as a lawyer for slightly longer. She started within the mergers and acquisitions practice of Lexence lawyers in July 2022, where she came to the conclusion that her heart is more with employment law after all. We understand that very well 😉
