Three more employment lawyers joined Workx; Naomi Cruickshank, Wies van Pesch and Margot Hoving. With these three new additions, the Workx team now consists of 13 lawyers. We will briefly introduce them to you below.
Naomi Cruickshank has been part of team Workx since 1 October 2022. She specialises in employment law since 2012. In her daily practice, she advises, negotiates and litigates on behalf of (international) employers and employees on a variety of employment law issues. Naomi’s areas of expertise include individual and collective dismissal, reorganisations, company closures, transfer of undertaking, reintegration and terms and conditions of employment. She also has experience in corporate law. This serves her well in employment law aspects of corporate issues, such as mergers and acquisitions.
Wies van Pesch has been part of team Workx since 1 November 2022. She started as an employment lawyer in 2016 and has been an employment law lawyer since 2018. She completed her master’s degree in employment law at the University of Amsterdam, after which she further specialised in employment law at a niche firm. Wies advises and litigates on individual and collective employment law in a practical manner. Think of issues and disputes surrounding reorganisation, dismissal, the competition clause and (long-term) disability. Wies also has extensive experience in drafting standard documentation such as a staff handbook, employment contract or bonus scheme in both Dutch and English.
Margot Hoving started at the same time as Wies and thus has been part of team Workx since 1 November 2022. She joined Bird & Bird as a lawyer in 2020 where she specialised in employment law. She has experience in international practice and assists both employers and employees. Before becoming a lawyer, she spent some time working at a scale-up in the legal team. Her experiences at a fast-growing international company come in handy when advising clients. Margot is incisive, creative and solution-oriented.
They look forward to working with you!
